Control your PC remotely Via your Twitter account

TweetMyPc is a newsworthy free twitter application, It lets you control remotely your computer just by sending commands to your computer to Shutdown, Log off, Hibernate or Lock your computer,allows you to control and access your computer from anywhere by simply sending a twitter-message with a special command as its content.

To start, you will need to install TweetMyPc on the computer which you want to control remotely.Then after installing it you will need to configure TweetMyPc with a Twitter account which you want to use to send commands via it to your computer. It is suggested that you create second twitter-account just for TweetMyPc and change the settings to make your tweets private.

After installing it will ask you for your Twitter account details

Enter the user name and the password

Then a dialog will appear to you,click ok it tells you that the app will open Twitter page and you should allow access to your tweets, to enable commands like getprocesslist, getfile and getfilelis you have to enter username&password of your Google E-mail account.
Now you are successfully configured TweetMyPc, now all you have to do is start using commands to remotely control your computer.

Simple Commands


- ShutDown: This command will remotely shutdown your computer.
- Abortshutdown: To abort shutdown if you accidentally tweeted shutdown or hibernate you can abort the command but you have to fast enough :).
- Logoff: This command will remotely log off your computer.
- Reboot: This command will remotely reboot your computer.
- Lock: This command remotely lock down your computer.
- Hibernate: This command remotely hibernate your computer.

Advanced Commands


- Getproccesslist: This command will send you an email contain a list of running programs.
- Screenshot: This will send you a screenshot of what happens in your computer and will upload it to Twitpic.
- Download : This command you use it to download files to your computer remotely.
